My grandparents on both sides immigrated from Sweden in the early 1900’s and settled in New England.
My paternal grandfather Anderson arrived with his family when he was 9 years old. At the age of 15, he was working for Bigelow and Kennard in Boston, MA as the primary diamond setter of the company. He was then commissioned by the King of Sweden to create a tiara for Queen Victoria. Grandpa became so well known, that the wealthy would send a chauffeur to pick him up for private jewelry repair.
My maternal grandmother’s family engaged in a fruitful textile business while living in Sweden.
I’m very proud of my family and its heritage. They were true craftsmen. Through the offerings in my shop, I am proud to keep Swedish traditions alive!
